WE THE KINGDOM RELEASED LIVE ACOUSTIC SESSIONS EP - FRIDAY, MARCH 6
Press Release:
Breakout Contemporary Christian/Country group We The Kingdom (Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Franni Rae Cash, Martin Cash and Andrew Bergthold) released their Live Acoustic Sessions EP today, Friday, March 6. The EP features 4 tracks recorded at the Boiler Room At Neuhoff Site in Nashville, Tennessee. The band, which includes award-winning producer and songwriter Ed Cash, is also a multigenerational family of musicians with a shared vision. Ed Cash has steered hit records for Chris Tomlin, Crowder, NeedToBreathe, and Bethel Music, and he has penned globally recognized songs, like “How Great Is Our God”, “Amen (Because He Lives)” and “All My Hope,” among others.
Each acoustic recording captures their artistic identity. Comprised of vulnerable lyrics blended with elements of worship, country, rock and soul, the EP highlights the heart and grit of We The Kingdom and the four decades of musical expertise they bring to the table. The Live Acoustic Sessions EP includes powerful, stripped down versions of their rapidly growing music, including the hugely popular "Holy Water" which can be heard spinning on Spotify's official playlists, including Top Christian, New & Bold, Christian Hits, and more. The track debuted at No. 29 on Spotify’s US Viral 50, while also currently in its third consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Christian AC Chart. Featured on “YouTube Artists On The Rise,” the group has amassed more than 38M global streams in six short months.
The group is currently providing direct support to Grammy-Award winning artist, Zach Williams, on the nationwide “Rescue Story Tour” and will release anticipated new music throughout 2020.
